This is a blog about becoming famous. In our world of Insta-Fame and Influencers, it's hard to know what you need to do to make it. I'm gonna shatter the wall right now and tell you that I don't have the answer. I am not famous, lol not even close, BUT I have been inspired to take a journey and discover what it takes to do it.
A little about me! I am a recent graduate from California State University, Fullerton's
Bachelor of Fine Arts: Musical Theatre program. My goal is to be an actor, to tell meaningful stories, to impact, teach, and learn. If you don't believe me, to the left is my headshot... that's all I've got. I am just a few months post grad and the Los Angeles audition scene has taught me a lot about this career path.

3. Followers matter.
I have learned through the grapevine and through my own experiences submitting and going to casting calls, that sometimes on the form you fill out where they ask what piece you are doing and your contact info, they will ask for your Instagram handle and how many followers you have.
HUH?
How many followers I have? Why does that matter? WELL, I have figured out through my Insta-stalking that Insta-Fame is a real kind of notoriety. Like if you can gain a following on Instagram, a company would like to hire you more because you have a greater following that will tune in or buy tickets. And yeah that makes total sense, but how can I gain a greater following if I am not constantly meeting people from being cast? How can I increase my followers while I am driving home from auditions everyday? There is one solution... buy'em!
You can absolutely download apps that let you buy followers! They are like bots, not real people but generated accounts that will follow you so your number goes up, but the casting teams have discovered this loophole and have means to check if your followers are actual people or just bought bots. SO WHAT THEN? Well that is what has driven me to this blog. I have some ideas that I am going to put to the test to see if I can boost my following!
